Sprig

A yellow Labrador retriever wearing a white and blue medical gown, sitting on a table, with black ink or dye smudges on its chest and face, in what appears to be a veterinary clinic.

Sprig is a young Labrador Retriever who found out the hard way that tulips are toxic to dogs. Sprig’s owner caught him digging up and eating tulip bulbs in the garden. Luckily, because he was caught in the act, Sprig’s owner brought him in to Fern Hill right away. After inducing vomiting, Sprig was given activated charcoal to help absorb any remaining toxins in his stomach and GI tract. Sprig is back to his playful self, trying to find more trouble to get into!

(Fun Fact: Tulips are also toxic to cats!)
