Hi! My name is Lucy, and I dreamed of being a veterinarian since I was a little kid. I entered vet school in 2015 and accomplished that dream in 2020 when I graduated as Summa Cum Laude Doctor in Veterinary Medicine in Mexico. 

I worked as a veterinarian for 2 years, then moved to Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2022 to work at BluePearl Pet Surgery. I was the lead technician for the board certified surgeon and medical director. I worked there for three and a half years assisting in orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, as well as running anesthesia for both complicated and stable patients/ cases. 

Thanks to a friend, I found Fern Hill Veterinary Care, and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy to work here with the most amazing doctors and team. 

I am very passionate about veterinary medicine. Giving the best care possible to every patient nourishes my soul and drives my work ethic. I am Fear Free and RECOVER CPR certified, and find surgery and ultrasound fascinating! 

When I am not working you can find me in nature hiking, swimming, or having a picnic. I also enjoy playing tennis, roller blading, dancing and drawing. On a rainy day you can find me cuddling with my orange female tabby Ambar.
