Jaiden, CVT

Hi, I’m Jaiden, a Certified Veterinary Technician who’s been fortunate to grow within this field from the front desk all the way to the surgery suite. I started out as a receptionist and spent almost four years getting to know the client side of veterinary care, where I fell in love with supporting not only the pets, but also their owners. Over time, I realized I wanted to be even more hands-on — not just helping the people who love their pets, but directly caring for the animals themselves. That inspired me to pursue my degree through the Portland Community College Veterinary Technology Program, where I discovered my passion for surgery and patient care.

My dog, Cash, has been a constant inspiration throughout my career. I adopted him as a puppy four years ago, and watching him navigate life with epilepsy and mast cell tumors has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of individualized care. He reminds me every day why I love working with animals and why compassionate, hands-on care makes such a difference.
